Back in the saddle heading to Las Vegas again!

The 4th of July weekend was fast approaching and I was getting a bit restless. I wasn't needed all that much since Trevor's job ended days before Sophie was born. But there was still the situation with the house they needed to rent in Las Vegas. They agreed to the house I thought would work out best for them. Their landlord, Mike, was very easy to work with and very accommodating. But I needed to sign the lease, get the keys, etc. so I decided to bid farewell for the weekend and head down to Las Vegas. I loaded up my car with boxes and such to take down there so we wouldn't have so much to pack in July after graduation. That turned out to be an inspired idea. I made good time arriving in Las Vegas and spending the nite at a hotel. I met Mike the next morning to sign the lease, get the keys and learn about the comings and goings of the area. Unloaded and spent the next couple of nites in our new home, explored the area and took Toni and Trevor's brother, Shawn and sister in law, Brittany and their kids out to dinner. We had a really nice evening. I enjoyed getting to know them. Church on  Sunday at the Meadows 10th ward. Very nice people.       (more below)
The view out their back window from upstairs.
The view out their kitchen window of their back yard.

Inside views, standing on landing looking upstairs, living room and master bedroom.

Stairs below landing, dining room out to back yard and section of kitchen.
Going from kitchen/dining room to living room and kitchen counter. It's a real nice house.

I headed back up to Rexburg after a short and enjoyable time in Las Vegas. This is not the place I would ever choose to live though. It is hot, dry, BARREN, and way too much commercialism. There are stores to buy anything and everything everywhere. I wont go near the strip area. It just feels too sinful and it is very glitzy. But there are lots of members there and they are great people. Toni and Trevor will enjoy the people and living close to family.
