#Elizabeth McElizabeth

Another great time was with our family friend Elizabeth Felix. Elizabeth was making the BIG move to head east to school at Southern Virginia University. And it was about time she did something fun for herself! There was a great going away party for her at the church where her Dad cooked hamburgers and we all brought a dish to share. We all had a good time celebrating and sending her off.

But that's not all. Elizabeth wanted to get all her ducks in a row before she left which meant going to the temple to take out her endowments on August 15th. As we left West Sac Elizabeth called us. She had forgotten her temple recommend. Can you believe that!!!! We had to go back to her house and wait for her brother, Nakona, to come over to her house and get it for us. We waited forever for him. He was sleeping due to nite work and Elizabeth had woke him up. Trevor drove like crazy, and I do mean like crazy because I feared for my life, so we could get there in time for the 2:00 session. We made it 10 minutes before but there just wasn't enough time for all the prework to be done. So we waited for the next session at 3:00 which worked out better. There were 3 or 4 other sisters going on the 2:00 session for their endowments so it was a pretty big session. The 3:00 was much smaller and Elizabeth was the shining star. Along with us was her mom and sister, John and Lynda Vargas and some other close friends we made our way down to Oakland for a wonderfully beautiful day. Afterwards we all went to dinner and then Toni and Trevor headed for his Mom's house in Elk Grove and I had one great and exciting adventure riding home with Elizabeth, her mom, Stacia,  and her sister Sarah. This included a 5 minute stop at the toll plaza in Benicia were Elizabeth asked the toll booth attendant if he took credit cards. This was so Elizabeth. Since that is so bogus we dug thru our wallets to come up with $5. It was so hysterical!!!! Only with Elizabeth.
